Independence Day

Heidi Larson

I am a history buff. Perhaps that is why I love the Fourth of July!

I took a business trip to Boston a few years ago and I was able to take some time to visit some of the historical sites. I was reminded of the courage and sacrifice of the Patriots.

You see, July 4th isn’t just a day for barbeques, rodeos, and fireworks. It is a day to celebrate the freedoms we enjoy in this country.

This world can be scary. The only true hope and freedom is found in Christ. That is the message we want to share with Dickinson and the world. Because of those courageous men (and women) in the 1700s, we are able to share the gospel with others. We are able to broadcast Christian music over the airways and share the Good News of Jesus

We are only able to continue our ministry because of our amazing donors. Would you prayerfully consider being a partner in our ministry? If you are able to donate, you can call us at the station at 701-483-1037 or go online to

This July 4, while celebrating our independence as a country, also take a moment to recognize our dependence on Christ.

For I, the LORD your God,
hold your right hand;
it is I who say to you, “Fear not,
I am the one who helps you.”
Isaiah 41:13
